The 3rd
European Workshop on Image Analysis for Multimedia Interactive Services will
be held on 16 and 17 May 2001 at Tampere University of Technology, Tampere,
Finland. The objective of the
workshop is to provide a forum for discussing new and recent results on
techniques for advanced image analysis and image processing for emerging
interactive multimedia services in the context of MPEG-4 and MPEG-7. Active
participation from researchers within and from outside of Europe is
encouraged in order to preserve its characteristics as a workshop. Authors are invited to submit up to
six-page camera-ready paper by the deadline given below. Accepted papers will
be published in the Workshop Proceedings. Areas
of interest are targeted for image, video and audio applications and include,
but are not limited to: ·
